Rapper 'The Game' Honor As Humanitarian Of Year!

Cali rapper, The Game was recently given the Humanitarian of The Year Award at the 2014 Associates for Breast and Prostate Cancer Studio’s 25th annual Talk of The Town Black Tie Gala. The Game has reportedly donated over $1 million to a charitable organization called The Robin Hood Project. He was very much endeared by the award as he took to Instagram to express his gratitude for receiving the honor.

The Game stated, “It all started when I gave one kid from Africa $20. That created @therobinhoodproject & since then I’ve given away over a million dollars of my own money hand to hand & through charitable organizations…. I am honored & more than appreciative of #ABC for this ‘Humanitarian Of The Year’ award…I was just a poor kid from Compton…. Never thought in a million years I’d have even an extra dollar to giveaway let alone a million. #Humbled.”

NFL Announced Katy Perry As Super Bowl Halftime Show Performer

NFL announced late Sunday -- after rumors swirled for weeks -- that the pop star will headline the Pepsi Super Bowl halftime show on Feb. 1 at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Arizona. It will air on NBC.

The Grammy-nominated star's upcoming performance is the fourth consecutive halftime show to display the NFL's push to include younger acts on its large stage

The show runner that is Shonda Rhimes continues to give ‘ABC’ cause to worship the creative ground she walks on this week, after three of her TV shows took the network to record breaking highs last night.

Watching the latest episode of her hit series ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ pull in 8.3 million viewers, it wasn’t long before the network learned that its younger sister ‘Scandal’ had captured the gaze of 10 million ‘How To Get Away With Murder’ showed up the party with a record breaking 9.8 million.

‘Entertainment Weekly‘ reports:

ABC points out the network won all four Thursdays in the adult demo during the November “sweeps” period—which hasn’t happened for the ABC in at least 23 years. The block was also up 20 percent over last year.

"The Queen Latifah Show" just got the axed

The show is in its 2nd season and we're told production will be coming to a halt. Sources say the staff was brought into an office Friday AM and given the news. The honchos weren't specific but it's all about ratings and cost.

Queen Latifah just posted a note on her Facebook page, saying to her staff, "Your dedication and sacrifice was crucial to the entire team, and in the face of intense challenges, you displayed 'True Grit.!'"

She ends by saying, "The most important thing in life is that you wake up every single day and take chances. No matter what the outcome ... believe in yourself and continue to fly."

Faith Evans Got Green Light for A Biggie Duet Album

A Notorious B.I.G and Faith Evans duet album is hitting shelves very soon...

While promoting her upcoming studio album Incomparable, Evans, 41, confirmed that she just got the green-light to record The King and I, a duets album featuring the vocals of her late rapper-husband.

Inspired by Natalie Cole and the late Nat King Cole's critically and commercially acclaimed 1991 duet album Unforgettable…with Love, the "special project" will feature never before heard music and is slated for release next year. 

Wallace, who is considered one of the greatest rappers of all time, was killed in 1997. He was 24 years old. 

Evans' Incomparable will be available on November 24.

Chrissy Crastanda- is a NYC socialite and owner of a modeling agency. She is ready to start a family with her boyfriend Chink but his other commitments and delayed divorce are putting her wishes on hold.

 

Cisco Rosado- is a well-known producer who has worked with Tank, Jim Jones and Uncle Murder. His “don’t ask, don’t tell” relationship with his girlfriend Diamond Strawberry takes a turn for the worst when she decides to move to NY to be closer to him and later finds out he has been dishonest.

Diamond Strawberry- daughter of New York Mets outfielder Daryl Strawberry, Diamond has moved to NY from L.A. to start her career as a model and build her relationship with her boyfriend Cisco but her decision backfires when she finds out her boyfriend has betrayed her.

Precious Paris- formerly signed to 50 cent’s label G-UNIT, recently signed a management deal with Dollaz Unlimited. But when another artist is added to her manager’s roster, she is disappointed to find out that she may be sharing her spotlight.

Last season on Love & Hip Hop: New York, the cast looked forward to new beginnings and had left many issues unresolved. This season, issues and relationships resurface.

Yandy Smith has her family back – Mendeecees is home and ready to rebuild his life. The couple is expecting a daughter and are raising their son together but with his pending trial looming over their heads, will it jeopardize their happily ever after?

Aaliyah: The Princess of R&B raked in an average 3.2 million viewers during its premiere telecast. That puts it as the No. 2 cable telepic of 2014, behind fellow Lifetime effort Flowers in the Attic. The film was also a hit online. Nielsen Media's mutable Twitter ratings put the pic at the top of its weekly chart, 997,000 tweets and a unique audience of 3.4 million.

Lifetime also fared well in the demographics, skewing young with 1.7 million adults 18-49 and 1.3 million women 18-49.

Teyena Taylor VII Album Debuts at No. 1 But Wack Sales

Teyana Taylor debuts straight in at No. 1 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums with her debut studio album VII.  The set enters with 16,000 sold in the week ending Nov. 9, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The 23-year old singer climbs 13-11 on Hot R&B Songs with "Maybe," featuring Pusha T and Yo Gotti, reaching a new peak in its seventh week. Streaming of the track jumps 42 percent to 588,000 U.S. plays, according to Nielsen BDS, with nearly half of those plays stemming from YouTube views. 

The numbers ain't that high but congrats to her on selling and reaching #1.

Omarion Releases Tracklist & Release Date For New Album "Sex Playlist"

Just in time for cuffing season, Omarion is giving you his Sex Playlist. The R&B crooner has finally announced a release date for his oft-delayed album.

His MMG/Atlantic Records debut will arrive exclusively at digital retailers on December 2, nearly five years since his last album Ollusion.

The 13 tracks include the DJ Mustard-produced single “Post to Be” with Chris Brown and Jhené Aiko, the Jeremih-assisted “Show Me,” and the DeBarge-sampled “You Like It.”

“When you hear my shit you gonna feel some shit, you gonna think about some shit, because that’s what the core and the true R&B is. Rhythm and blues baby,” he told The FADER.

The network has ordered a new pilot for the former syndicated series famously hosted by Robin Leach in the 1980s and '90s.

America's Got Talent host Nick Cannon is attached to serve as Host.

NBC will shoot a new take on Lifestyles, which is said to be extremely different. The new version will focus heavily on Cannon's point of view and include fun profiles on ultra-wealthy individuals with vibrant personalities, hobbies and tastes.
