Brandy, who currently appears on BET’s The Game, is also set to star in a new BET original scripted series, Zoe Moon. The romantic comedy will center around Brandy’s character, Zoe Moon, a newly divorced single mom embarking on her new life and career as a fledgling cosmetics mogul.

E! News has learned that Kelly Rowland's mother, Doris Rowland Garrison, passed away Tuesday in Atlanta after going into cardiac arrest the day prior. She was 66.

The former Destiny's Child star's publicist confirmed the tragic news. "It is with deep sadness that I announce the passing of my mother, Doris Rowland Garrison. She was an incredible soul who made countless sacrifices so that I could become the woman and now mother I am today," Rowland said in a statement Wednesday. "We humbly appreciate all the love and support and only ask for privacy during this difficult time."

The singer welcomed her first child with husband Tim Witherspoon on Tuesday, Nov. 4.

Born at 1:30 p.m. PT, son Titan Jewell Witherspoon weighed 7.5 lbs.

“We are thrilled to announce that today we are the proud parents of our first son,” the Talk a Good Game singer said in a statement.

“We are blessed to report everyone is healthy and happy!”

While doing her promo stops for her new album today in NYC at CBS This Morning she said: "You guys remember when I asked you all who you'd like to see play the role of Gladys Knight in my biopic? Well... Here's what I think:) @kellyrowland," confirms Knight on Instagram.

Kelly Rowland Slipped And Say She is Having A Boy!

When discussing the upcoming MTV Video Music Awards and her #AmpYourFab photo contest with Caress, Kelly Rowland let the news slip that she and husband/manager Tim Witherspoon are expecting a little boy.

“We’re very excited,” Kelly told FOX411. “So far, everything has been good. I just feel like the baby is already rotten–like literally, my Caress family has gotten him all of his little bathing stuff, his toys–it’s just so cool.”

When Kelly realized that she had revealed more news than she had intended, she sighed heavily and laughed, “It, it’s…aw, f--k it! It’s a boy. It’s a boy!”

Kelly turned to her rep, asking her to place an emergency call to her husband. “Can you please tell him that I spilled the beans?” Kelly looked down and caressed her growing bump. “I’m sorry, baby,” she said, laughing. “But yes, it’s very exciting.”

Congrats Kelly and Blue will now have a baby boy cousin to play with.
