Bye, Bye: Rosie O'Donnell is Leaving "The View"

Less than a month after ABCNews shot down a trade scoopthat Rosie Perez would be the panelist leaving The View, it has confirmed Rosie O’Donnell is exiting. She will continue to co-host the show through next week.

“Rosie is an immensely talented star who comes in each and every morning brimming with ideas, excitement and passion for the show,” ABC News said in a statement. “When she told us that she wanted to exit The View, we respected and understood her desire to put her well-being and her family first. We’re delighted she’s still part of the ABC family with upcoming guest appearances on The Fosters. And we know she’ll return to The View often with her unique point of view and updates on her work and her family.”

With new hosts, a new set, and a new logo, The View, Rosie O’Donnell and Whoopi Goldberg will be joined by new panelists Rosie Perez an Nicolle Wallace when the show returns on Monday, September 15th.

The View Co-Host Sherri Shepherd Fires Back With Own Divorce Filing in NJ

Sherri Shepherd has filed her own legal docs for divorce days after her estranged husband Lamar Sally filed his own docs.

Shepherd filed for divorce in New Jersey, claiming irreconcilable differences. 

The couple is having a baby in July with a surrogate, and Sally wants full custody and wants an order prohibiting Shepherd from interfering with the birth.

Interestingly, Sherri hasn’t made any mention in her legal docs for custody. 

As for the prenup-  That Sally is trying to get invalidated on grounds of fraud but Shepherd wants it enforced.  The prenup provides, if the marriage lasts between 2 and 5 years -- Sally gets $60K and that's it in the money dept.

Well there you have it…. I am sure if will be getting messier as time goes by….
