Actress Tasha Smith's Husband/Manager Gets Restraining Order

The For Better Or Worse star has recently been ordered to stay as little as two yards and as much as 100 yards away from her husband/manager Keith Douglas.

Keith claims that when Tasha gets loose off the goose, she flies into these rages and threatens to get him killed.

Douglas claims Smith flies into booze-fueled rages … and that she’s threatened to kill him … or get people to hurt him, even warning him to “not fall asleep or something will happen.”

Keith also claims Smith — who currently stars in “Tyler Perry’s For Better or Worse” — threatened him in front of his kids … and he’s had to flee to escape her wrath.

With the two of them still living together in their California home, a judge has ordered Tasha to stay two yards away from Keith when they’re at the house, and 100 yards away when they’re not, pending a hearing.

A rep for Tasha denies their client has an alcohol problem.

Lawd Jesus hope they can work through this.

Is Movie Mogul Tyler Perry Expecting his first Baby

According to Bossip, he made the announcement that he’s expecting his first child during his 45th birthday party last week.

He didn’t reveal the child’s mother, but it’s being rumored that it’s model/philanthropist Gelia Bekele (pictured above) — whom he’s been dating off and on for the last few years.

Is Tyler Perry taking A Break From Movies?

Tyler Perry is taking a break from making movies to focus on producing projects for Oprah Winfrey. He has a multiyear partnership to produce, write, and direct scripted content for OWN. He reportedly is the only producer to have scripted series’ on the network in addition to an equity stake in the company. Perry’s series’, The Haves and the Have Nots, For Better or Worse, and Love Thy Neighbor, are scoring strong ratings on OWN.

In fact, The Have and the Have Nots has generated the network’s highest ratings.

OH Snap: Madea is Backkk in "A MADEA Christmas"

Tyler Perry isn't slowing down one bit. With the success over at OWN with "The Haves and Have Nots" he is set to star, write and direct in "A Madea Christmas" that is set to come to theaters December 13.

TV Ratings: Tyler Perry Premiere "The Haves & Have Nots' Gives OWN a Record Launch

Congrats to - Tyler Perry and Oprah Winfrey may be the perfect match -- at least in terms of Winfrey's cable network. OWN launched its first scripted effort Tuesday night, pulling in its highest rated series premiere yet.

OWN Sets Premieres for Tyler Perry's Scripted Series, Greenlights Two Shows

The Haves and the Have Nots, from the prolific writer, director and producer, brought in 1.77 million viewers with its 9 p.m. premiere. Part of a back-to-back premiere, the show managed to grow to 1.8 million viewers in its second episode at 10 p.m. The strongest premiere until now has been the recent debut of Life With La Toya (1.18 million).

Among women 25-54, OWN's ad-friendly demo, the 9 p.m. episode brought in a 1.57 rating and the 10 p.m. episode pulled a 1.67 rating.

OWN and Perry inked an exclusive multiyear deal in October, which will see the multi-hyphenate develop new series and projects for the network. The pact included the addition of The Haves and the Have Nots to the network, as well as comedy Love Thy Neighbor which opens Wednesday.

For the second quarter to-date, the young cable network is up 12 percent in total viewers compared to last year.

Tyler Perry Temptations Movie Gross over $22M

With the hype and buzz for Tyler Perry new movie "Temptation" seem to pay off, it racked in $22.3M this week coming in at #3. Which I think is good compared to other good movies that were out like G.I Joe: Retaliation which was #1 with over $41M.

Finally the trailer has been release for the anticipated movie from Tyler Perry Confessions of a Marriage Counselor starring some of our favs, Kim Kardashian, Brandy, Vanessa Williams, Lance Gross. No exact release dates have been given other than spring 2013.
