Is LHHNY Mendeecees Harris Heading To Prison?

#LHHNY couple Mendeecees Harris and Yandy Smith might be honeymooning in a federal prison ... because the groom just plead guilty to running a drug ring in upstate NY. 

Harris struck a plea deal in the case, and will now face 5 to 40 years in the federal pen, and/or a fine of $5 million. The feds nailed him for a drug trafficking operation that shipped cocaine and heroin to Rochester for 7 years. 

Harris will remain free on bail until his sentencing in August -- good thing for him ... since he and Yandy are getting married next month on "Love & Hip Hop Live: The Wedding." By the way, he also has to surrender all his paychecks from 'LHH.' 

The only good news for Yandy when her hubby gets locked up ... she'll get back most of the $200k she put up for his bail when he originally got busted last year.

LHHNY Mandeecees is Out on $600K Bail & Vh1 Cameras Were there For the Moment

Vh1 Love&Hip-hop Nyc Yandie and Mandeecees played out this all the viewers of the show. 
Well now it seem there's some good news for the couple.

It is reported that the music exec was accused of a role in a New York City-based drug ring that included his brother, Tyrus Harris, and another man, Ronald Walker. Tyrus Harris pleaded guilty before Geraci Monday, and Walker pleaded guilty last year.The drug ring transported cocaine to the Rochester region, federal authorities allege. Tyrus Harris faces a sentence of about five to seven years, under federal sentencing recommendations.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Frank Sherman and Mendeecees Harris’ lawyer, Donald Thompson, said in court Monday that they’ve been working toward a resolution with the case. The bail agreement, Sherman said, is expected to be substantial enough to ensure Harris returns for future court dates.

U.S. District Judge Frank Geraci Jr. agreed to release Mendeecees on a $600,000 bond package — half of which was provided in court and $200,000 of which Yandy has agreed to pay. He was released later from the Yates County Jail, where he has been held since January 2o13.

Great news for Yandy and Mendeecees children including his oldest son little Mendeecees who fans saw struggle with the challenges of him being incarcerated.

“The hardest part is just watching the kids growing up without him,” she said of the past year.

Fans can expect to see all of this continue to play out on the small screen as the show is now filming season 6 and cameras were rolling outside of the prison today as he was released.

[Video] LHHNY Mandeecess Appears in Court on Drug Charges

Mandeecees Harris, of Love & Hip Hop, could face a mandatory minimum sentence of 20 years in prison if convicted of a federal drug conspiracy charge.

Mendeecees Harris, 33, plead not guilty in federal court in Rochester Friday 8th March 2013, to a drug conspiracy charge. Because of a previous, 2001 drug conviction in Maryland, Harris faces a 20-year mandatory sentence if convicted for this charge.
