Mag Fab: Cast of “Get On Up” Covers EBONY’s September Issue

One of the hottest casts this year is gracing EBONY’s September issue double covers.  Chadwick Boseman, Tika Sumpter and Nelsan Ellis are channeling old Hollywood and oozing some serious sophistication in the cover shot which pays tribute to their new film Get On Up.

Chadwick opened up to EBONY about landing one of the biggest roles in his career so far.  After initially shying away from the role of James Brown, he was proud to take it one, especially after beating out 20 other actors for the role.
