Actor Chris Rock Files For Divorce From Wife Malaak

Chris Rock and his wife are divorcing after nearly 20 years together. 

"After much contemplation and 19 years of marriage, Chris and I have decided to go our separate ways," Malaak Compton-Rock, a philanthropist and founder of the nonprofit styleWorks, said in a statement Sunday. "Being fortunate enough to lead a life of service by working with those most vulnerable makes me well aware of life's blessings, even when faced with difficulties. 

"While recognizing that this is a significant change, my children remain at the center of my life and their well-being is my top priority. It is in this spirit that I sincerely ask that their privacy and the privacy of our family be respected during this transition in our lives." 

Rock's attorney, Robert S. Cohen, confirmed the couple has split. 

"Chris Rock has filed for divorce from his wife, Malaak," Cohen said in a statement. "This is a personal matter and Chris requests privacy as he and Malaak work through this process and focus on their family.” 

Actress Tasha Smith Files For Divorce & Has To Pay $50K in Spousal Support

We all love her for her funny characters in several movies but now her marriage is crumbling right in front of us. She  has filed for divorce.

Unfortunately, the odds already don’t appear to be in her favor. According to TMZ, a judge has ordered the fiery beauty to fork up $50,000 in spousal support up front to estranged hubby Keith Douglas because she is the primary breadwinner in their household. This arrangement has supposedly been put in place to hold Douglas over until the more permanent details of their divorce can be straightened out. Perhaps he’ll use that money to move out of the couple’s marital home.

It became apparent that Smith and Douglas’ four-year marriage was deteriorating back in November when the Hollywood hubby requested a restraining order against her. According to Douglas, Smith frequently went into alcohol-induced rages that resulted in her threatening his life. Just days after Douglas’ restraining order was granted, Smith requested her own restraining order. In her filing, the actress also alleged that Douglas threatened her life, referred to her as a “f-cking d-ke” and accused her of sleeping with other women.

Phaedra Parks is pulling the plug on her marriage to Apollo Nida. 

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star "has retained an attorney with the intent of amicably ending her marriage," her rep, Steve Honig, exclusively tells E! News in a statement. Last month, Nida checked himself in to prison to begin an eight-year sentence which was issued in July following his guilty plea to bank fraud back in May.

This is the second long-term prison stay for Nida, who was in jail for six years between 2003 and 2009 for car theft charges.

The former couple has two children under the ages of four, sons Dylan and Ayden.  

Paula Patton Files For Divorce From Robin Thicke

Paula Patton after separating from Robin Thicke for 7 months has officially filed for divorce.

Paula cites the usual … irreconcilable differences.   

She wants joint legal and physical custody of their 4-year-old son Julian.  

The divorce was filed in L.A., so there will be no issues over whether Robin may have strayed.  It’s irrelevant.

We’re also told the divorce is “harmonious” and there are no real issues that will cause a conflict.
