Official Statement Released About Jayz & Solange Elevator Brawl

Check this politically correct statement they released about the brawl between Jayz and Solange. .... I ain't buying it but oh well.... Good PR writing ....lol

The statement the world’s been waiting can be read right here:

“As a result of the public release of the elevator security footage from Monday, May 5th, there has been a great deal of speculation about what triggered the unfortunate incident. But the most important thing is that our family has worked through it,” an exclusive statement to The Associated Press said Thursday. “Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred. They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public. They both have apologized to each other and we have moved forward as a united family.

The reports of Solange being intoxicated or displaying erratic behavior throughout that evening are simply false,” the statement continued. “At the end of the day families have problems and we’re no different. We love each other and above all we are family. We’ve put this behind us and hope everyone else will do the same.”

The dispute that prompted Beyoncé’s sister to attack Jay Z at a Manhattan hotel centered on the rapper’s wish to keep the party going at a shindig hosted by RiRi, the Daily News has learned.

Tensions were already running high when Jay Z — while walking to the now-infamous Standard Hotel elevator — said he was going to the Rihanna bash rather than heading home with Beyoncé.

“Why can’t you go home?” a drunken Solange Knowles said to her brother-in-law as they left the swanky May 5 Met Gala after-party, a source told The News.

Then the 27-year-old singer turned to her 32-year-old big sis Beyoncé.

“Why does your husband need to go to the club right now?” Solange asked, according to the source.

An incensed Jay Z took offense to Solange getting involved in his business.

“You’re one to talk,” he shot back at Solange, the source said.

2 Cities: Made In America 2014 Will Be in Philadelphia and Los Angeles

Live Nation announced the pre-sale for Made In America festival tickets in Philly.  We all thought that was the confirmation it was returning to Philly after discussions of bringing it to L.A.

  

But then Hov dropped the news today that it's going to both L.A. Philly...at the same damn time.  it will all go down Labor Day weekend, August 30th and 31st.

Alongside L.A. Mayor Eric Garcetti, President and CEO of Live Nation Entertainment Michael Rapino, as well as Budweiser and United Way honchos, Hov revealed the big expansion plan at a press conference at Los Angeles City Hall today. 

The crew revealed there will be 60 Performances, 6 Stages, two cities, one weekend.  And tickets are on sale now for both cities at MadeInAmericaFest.com.

2013 Grammy Nominations List With Jayz Leading The Pack

LL Cool J hosted the special, The GRAMMY Nominations Concert Live!! -- Countdown To Music's Biggest Night, from at Los Angeles' Nokia Theatre L.A. Live. Among the performers on the special were Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Robin Thicke, Lorde and Keith Urban

The nominees for the 56th annual Grammy Awards were announced Friday night in a live special that aired on CBS.

Jay Z leads with nine nominations followed by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Pharrell Williams, Kendrick Lamar and Justin Timberlake with seven each. Drake nabbed five noms also.
