Rapper Lil Kim To Receive VH1 HipHop Honor

VH1 Hip Hop Honors: All Hail The Queens wouldn't be complete without a tribute to the Queen Bee of rap, Lil' Kim. She rounds out an all-female list of previously announced honorees Queen Latifah, Salt-N-Pepa featuring Spinderella and Missy Elliott.

Brooklyn MC and fashion icon Lil Kim has made a dent in the male-dominated world of hip-hop by being one of a few female rappers to have three consecutive platinum albums -- Hard Core, Notorious K.I.M. and La Bella Mafia. Earlier this year, she hit the mixtape circuit with Lil Kim Season, which featured her remixes of Drake's "Summer Sixteen" and Desiigner's "Panda" featuring Maino. She will also be touring with Puff Daddy and her Bad Boy family for the Bad Boy reunion tour starting in August.

The joining of Lil Kim, Missy Elliott and Da Brat for a performance of their 1996 platinum single "Not Tonight."

The ladies have been added to this year's list of performers for a set that will not only shut down the house, but also honor STA 2014's Legend Award recipients, Kool & the Gang. "Not Tonight," also featuring Angie Martinez and the late Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes, raced up the charts as a remix of the group's 1979 smash hit "Ladies Night."

Paxton Baker, Centric's General Manager and Executive Vice President, said in a statement: "We are keeping the momentum going with hit-making musical acts from different decades and are thrilled Missy Elliott, Lil Kim and Da Brat chose Soul Train Awards 2014 for their reunion. We are humbled to honor Kool & the Gang with the Legend Award this year.  They’ve set music trends that are sampled still today, and I know they, along with the other performers, will bring the Celebration to Vegas throughout the weekend!"

Rapper Lil Kim Has Given Birth, See What She Name the Baby!

Lil' Kim is officially a proud mother.

The Magic Stick rapper, 39, gave birth to a baby girl name Royal Reign at 9:58 a.m. Monday, June 9, 2014, at Hackensack University Medical Center in New Jersey, a source confirms to ET.

Weighing in at 6 pounds, 5 ounces, and measuring 19.5 inches long, Royal Reign is Lil' Kim's first child.
